The interest rate decision is made by the Open Market Committee (Fed’s division) eight times a year, where 12 members of the Committee vote for the rate level changes. The distribution of the votes cast is immediately known after the meeting.
Dates of the Fed’s interest rate decision meetings in 2023: February 1, March 22, May 3, June 14, July 26, September 20, November 1, December 13.
Updates appear at 18:00 GMT (19:00 DST).
The minutes of the last Open Market Committee meeting are then published three weeks later.
The interest rate decision is made by the BoE Monetary Policy Committee 8 times a year.
Updates appear at 11:00 GMT (12:00 DST). The Monetary Policy Committee includes 9 members.
Dates of the BoE interest rate decisions in 2023: February 2, March 23, May 11, June 22, August 3, September 21, November 2, December 14.
The minutes are published simultaneously with the MPC decision.
The interest rate decision is made by the Governing Council of the European Central Bank.
Updates appear at 12:15 GMT (13:15 DST). After a decision is made, a press conference is traditionally held 30 minutes later.

The decision is known between 3-5am GMT.

The Swiss National Bank makes interest rate decisions four times a year announcing the results at 07:30 GMT (08:30 DST).

The Bank of Canada makes interest rate decisions eight times a year, announcing the results at 13:00 GMT (14:00 DST).
Dates of the BoC interest rates decision meetings in 2023: January 25, March 8, April 12, June 7, July 12, September 6, October 25, December 6.
The Bank of Australia’s interest rate decision meeting takes place 11 times a year, with the result known at 03:30 GMT.
Dates of the RBA interest rate decision meetings in 2023: February 7, March 7, April 4, May 2, June 6, July 4, August 1, September 5, October 3, November 7, December 5.
The Reserve Bank of New Zealand makes its interest rate decision, like the US Fed, eight times a year, announcing the results at 20:00 GMT.
