Markets may close for the traditional trading week, but global events don’t stop on Friday evening. Political announcements, geopolitical developments and shifts in market sentiment can all happen over the weekend, potentially influencing prices before markets reopen on Monday.
With Weekend Trading, FxPro clients can now access a selection of popular global markets throughout the weekend, giving them greater flexibility to respond to developments as they happen.
What can you trade at the weekend?
Weekend Trading is available on the FxPro Standard MT5 account, with five dedicated instruments:
- GOLD365 – Gold
- SILVER365 – Silver
- WTI365 – WTI Crude Oil
- NAT.GAS365 – Natural Gas
- NDX365 – Nasdaq
These dedicated instruments provide access to some of the world’s most closely watched markets outside their traditional weekday trading hours.
More flexibility when the markets move
Weekend Trading gives traders more opportunities to manage their market exposure and react to developments without having to wait for the traditional Monday open.
Clients can use the new instruments to respond to breaking news and market-moving events, position themselves ahead of the new trading week and open an unlimited number of weekend positions.
How does Weekend Trading work?
Weekend Trading is available from Friday at 21:05 GMT until Sunday at 21:58 GMT.
When the underlying market reopens, open weekend positions are automatically transferred to the corresponding weekday instrument, providing a seamless transition back into the regular trading week.
The new instruments are available through the MetaTrader 5 platform suite and the 5-star-rated FxPro App, allowing traders to monitor and manage their positions wherever they are.
Markets don’t stop for the weekend. Now, neither do you.
